Policies to keep us all safe
Please read before booking a session or attending an in-person workshop
Clients must be fully vaccinated before booking a session or attending an in-person workshop
Clients are required to wear a mask/face covering when entering the building, walking through common areas, and in the shared bathroom for the safety of all clients and therapists who share the office space. It is recommended that clients wear a mask during their session, however, accommodations can be made per client request.
At this time i am scheduling one or two clients per day to give me time to thoroughly clean and disinfect all shared areas, treatment room, high touch surfaces and the entrance.
When you arrive please call/text to notify me that you are here. Please wait for me to respond before you enter the building as i may be sanitizing, or the office has another guest entering or exiting at the same time of your arrival.
Upon entering the building, your temperature will be checked with a no touch thermometer to ensure that every guest entering our space is within the safe ranges set by the CDC. Each guest will be monitored and questioned for any COVID-like symptoms during this time.
Please immediately enter the treatment room to drop off any belongings, then proceed to the bathroom to wash your hands or use hand sanitizer, which will be available throughout the office. We ask for you to bring only necessary belongings (phone, keys) and leave other items in your car.
For the safety of you, other clients, and all therapists who share the office, please cancel if you feel you have suddenly fallen ill or have been exposed to a positive COVID-19 person.
Therapist
Each therapist in the office will be wearing a face mask at all times in compliance with NC state regulations.
As usual, i will be washing my hands thoroughly immediately before and after the session.
In the event that i have any COVID-19 and/or flu-like symptoms, or may have been exposed to a positive COVID-19 person, I will contact you to cancel your appointment.
Treatment Room
To protect the table and continue the use of extra padding, a vinyl covering has been added on top for easy disinfecting. Your sheet set will lay on top of this layer, so the treatment table may be a bit noisy when moving.
As usual, each client will have freshly laundered set of sheets, as well as a freshly laundered blanket.
All areas that may be touched by a client in the treatment room will be cleaned and disinfected after their session.
A carefully chosen HEPA air filter will remain on during your session and throughout the day to circulate the air.
“HEPA filters are very effective, certified to capture 99.97 percent of particles that are precisely 0.3 micron in diameter. (Particles that size are perfectly suited to maneuver through the filter’s fibers, while larger and smaller particles, because of the various ways they move in the air, crash into the structure.)
